Chili Cook-Off!

Presented by: The Springs of Escondido

INFORMATION

The Springs of Escondido, senior retirement community, is reaching out to senior with a “Chili Cook-off” on October 25th from 11:00 to 2:00.  The community will be having multiple service agencies such as Police Department, ambulance company, Interim Home Health Care and their own, Executive Chef, Tin Nguyen competing for the “best chili in town”.  The Springs will also be offering safety talks to residents and guests.

The Springs of Escondido is very involved in all aspects of the community and have been participating in an active Teddy Bear drive for the City of Escondido’s Police department.  At this event, teddy bears collected by the residents over the past several months, will be presented to the police department in support of under privileged children or children in need.

The Red Rose and Red Hat Club at The Springs of Escondido will also kick-off their annual toy drive which ends on December 5th.  All toys collected are given to the Escondido Fire Department who then distribute to less fortunate children in the local community. We ask you to come join us for free food, socialization, and entertainment, while sharing with the community.

Bring a toy or teddy bear and join the fun.
