INVOLVEMENT

As a 501(c)(5) Labor Organization, the Escondido Police Officers' Association represents its members: including police officers, community service officers, and public safety dispatchers, regarding labor issues with the City of Escondido. this includes contract negotiations, personnel issues, etc. The association also provides benefits to the members including legal support, personal insurance, and a retirement benefit.

In addition to labor issues, the members have taken the opportunity to establish the EPOA as a local charitable organization, which has been registered as a charitable trust with the State of California.
